While attending the Alberta College of Art and Design in Calgary, Canada in the early 1970's, I was introduced to and inspired by the work of alternative jewellers including Claus Bury, Paul Derrez, and David Watkins. I continue to combine precious, semi-precious, and unusual materials including vintage and contemporary plastics. The resulting evocative, whimsical and colourful works are drawn from the visual language of our cultural, urban and natural landscapes.
