Materials: Sterling silver, fire opal, enamel paint Dimensions: H2-3/4" x W1-3/4" x D 1-3/4" This interactive piece was inspired by the Moulin Rouge in Paris France. The tower represents a traditional configuration with a windmill and a ballroom sign. When you open the tower you see a cancan dancer, and as you crank the handle, her skirt swivels and she dances the high-kick. Photo credit: Yoko Nogchi Yoko Noguchi Solon, Iowa. USA My work is a representation of my visual experiences, events and scenes that I have found or gone through. I am interested in finding any event that can be transformed into my artwork. Sometimes inspiration comes from physical objects that I see, forms, colors, and stories or news that I happen to read. My life events such as moving to different state, taking steps to a new stage of life also inspire me.
