I draw my inspiration from everywhere, whether it be nature, the human body, or the Day of the Dead celebrations. I am not restricted to one line of inspiration and allow my designs and forms to move in their own direction and consider all aesthetic possibilities. In my metalwork I break the constraints of comfortable wearable forms and am always striving to move beyond the traditional. Each piece I create becomes a learning experience that I use to move forward in my craft and as an artist in general.
